MARGUERITE

Coming after Denise and Micheline, Marguerite is the third daughter of compagnie DCA. A bucolic name for an experimental show, combining dance, mime, acrobatics and video. Philippe Decouflé uses these disciplines as creative channels, and gives birth to a mirage. An misleading mirage however, where the images are not quite what they seem to be. Time has become subjective, elastic and slower to better appreciate the work in progress. Marguerite, a forerunner to Shazam!, performed at the Chaufferie, set down the fundamentals of a new artistic language in the process of formation.
