This creation saw Philippe Decouflé work with graduates from the 13th year of the French Circus Arts School, to create a piece where the magic machines of circus team up with the choreography of the bodies. Each act had its own stage play with rigging, trapeze, tightrope or Chinese pole to give the best of a physical and technical performance. The performers take risks, flying off into the air so as to return ever more elegantly. In addition to nurturing a new type of circus, the performers created a joyful and entertaining world. All the while thumbing their nose at the superstitious number “13”, by paying a tribute to the circus, with a ring area measuring... 13 meters in diameter!
