Presented at the Opéra Comique (Paris), Tutti is a fantasy designed for the Dance Research Group of the Paris Opera House. On stage, the actors undergo a strange transformation to become musical instruments.... Clothes are connected to vacuum cleaners that inflate the costumes, and, at the same time, the bodies of the performers. Theirs' is a musical shell. Just like the stage scenery elements, some of which feature violin and double bass patterns. And the melody comes from the pit, with the musicians playing a score devised especially by Antoine Hervé, the musical director of the National Jazz Orchestra.
