Over a thousand amateur dancers took over the Paris suburb of Saint Denis for a colorful parade featuring floats, flags and giants. Folklore costumes, made-up faces and war cries. But above all, a parade reflecting the melting pot culture that is Saint Denis. Commissioned as part of the 2007 Rugby World Cup (the local stadium was a major venue), Philippe Decouflé orchestrated a huge open party, celebrating the regions of France and the countries of origin of the tournament teams. The Haka formed the bond between the dances from countries worldwide.
Parade performed on 18 September 2007 for the opening of the Rugby World Cup.
