Alexandre Castres

Alexandre trained first at the National Conservatory of Dance of Nantes, then at the Conservatory of Music and Dance of La Rochelle and at the Acting Studio of Lyon.
His dual training as well as his interest for video led him to work as a dancer, actor and videographer.
He worked with the Contemporary Dance Company L'Esquisse, with the choreographers Joëlle Bouvier and Régis Obadia at the CNDC in Angers, with Dominique Petit, Samir Akika and with Pina Bausch at the Tanztheater in Wuppertal, between 2001 and 2006.
At the same time, he choreographed his own plays and made four films.
He joined the company DCA for the show Octopus and also danced in Wiebo.
