Costums designer
A desire to bring together two life-long passions – dance and design – led Peggy to enrol at the Barcelona Escuela Superior de Diseño (ESDI), where she discovered the world of dress design. She continued her training, successively, at the Orléans Institut d’Arts Visuels, at the Paris Ecole des Arts Décoratifs, and at the London College of Fashion, before joining the Alberta Ferretti studio, where she worked as a designer.
Since 2004, she has been working with the Compagnie DCA in costume design and production (Iris, IIris, Sombreros, Désirs at the Crazy Horse, Octopus). In 2009, she launched the brand Peggy H. with the support of the Maisons de Mode in Lille.
As well as promoting her brand and her activity as costume designer (including 5Ryoanji by Olivia Granville, and Promesse by Guy Freixe), Peggy handles artistic direction for fashion shows (the Printemps in Lille, the Salon du Chocolat, the Lille Grand Palais) and is developing more experimental and innovative projects, such as the Futuro Textile for the World Expo in Shanghai.
Since April 2012, she is participating as costume designer on the tour of Panorama, and a new Parisian Peggy H. boutique is due to open during 2013.
