Claire Diterzi

She began in music at age 16 by founding her first band (Forguette Mi Note: two albums recorded, 800 concerts in Europe), and singing with Compagnie Off, while writing (words and music) and performing with the trio Dit Terzi. She has also worked with François Leroux, Jean-Claude Penchenat, Sarah Sanders, Richard Cross and Julia Pelaez.
She published her first solo album Boucle in 2006, also composing the soundtrack for the film Requiem for Billy the Kid, directed by Anne Feinsilber and created the soundscape for an exhibition by Titouan Lamazou at the Musée de l'Homme (Paris) in 2008. In May 2010, Claire Diterzi wrote and performed the role of Rosa Luxemburg in the original musical Rosa la rouge directed by Marcial Di Fonzo Bo.
In October 2010, she became the first “contemporary” music performer to obtain a residency at the Villa Médicis in Rome.
